Connection to streaming entertainment systems is no longer available on Aeroflot aircraft, the airline said.
Problems arose due to restrictions on foreign service providers. Until the end of December, the company hopes to present a domestic solution.
“Friends, we inform you that the connection to streaming entertainment systems will be temporarily unavailable on our A320/321 and B737 aircraft,” says the Aeroflot telegram channel.
While a new solution is developed, the airline is offering its customers a “digital detox” for the duration of the flight. As a leisure activity, it is recommended to clean mobile phones of obsolete materials, take stock of 2022, make a wish list for next year and even meditate.
In connection with the outbreak of hostilities in Ukraine, the largest companies, Boeing and Airbus, stopped providing service to the planes of the fleets of Russian airlines. In September, Aeroflot signed an agreement on the supply of 339 domestically produced aircraft. Later, the company announced the completion of the transition to the Russian reservation system.
On Thursday, December 1, the Federal Air Transport Agency extended the flight restriction to 11 airports in the country.
