The beta version of WhatsApp for Android will receive an update for testers that includes an important new feature: HE application should allow single viewing of text messages🇧🇷
As with the current version for sending photos and videos that disappear after viewing, the new feature will have a dedicated button next to the chat bar.
The new button has a padlock icon on it. When the recipient opens and closes the message, it disappears from the conversation. Since the feature is still in the testing phase, it may change before it reaches the application completely.
The functionality eliminates the need to “everyone delete” the message containing sensitive data, and also prevents text from being transmitted and copied🇧🇷 There is even a possibility to block screenshots of the message.
However, it is not yet known whether a single visualization of the message is in the text. What’s up? will be the same as the current function with media: occupies the entire screen as usual or just the text that appears in the small bubble.
