In a statement on its website, the team justified the decision because of “decreased contributions, increased costs, currency fluctuations, and the impossibility of working with advertising.”
According to the note, the entire collection should be made available “simply, yet still functional” in the coming weeks.
Working independently at the site from the beginning, the team had already commented on the difficulty of keeping Legendas TV active in 2019 when it was threatened with shutting down operations. At that time, the team asked more people to subscribe to the VIP plan.
