TrendForce analysts believe that Apple will be the leader in the global smartphone market by the end of the year. However, the sector has been experiencing hard times in recent months due to the stagnation in demand and the economic crisis in many countries. In the third quarter, the market decreased by 0.9% compared to the previous quarter, with 289 million units shipped.

In the fourth quarter of the year, Apple’s market share may increase from 17.6% to 24.6%. Samsung deliveries won’t increase that much. The company is expected to face further declines due to ongoing shortages, low demand and semiconductor shortages. Xiaomi, OPPO and Vivo may also lose their market share.
