Mintsifra approved 70 projects to replace foreign services

The Ministry of Digital Development has approved 70 projects aimed at replacing foreign products. The roadmap, which outlines the plans for the implementation of these tasks, was approved by the government on December 16.

According to the document, an industry venture fund should be formed by 2023. Its investment capital is expected to reach 30 billion rubles by 2030.

In addition, the developer of the domestic game engine has been identified, VK will participate in its creation, the costs will amount to about 2.8 billion rubles. Also among the approved projects is the video content service of Rostelecom Wink. Earlier it was reported that a whole ecosystem with cloud music and games would be created on the basis of online cinema. Rostelecom requested 1.16 billion rubles from the Ministry of Digital Transformation to implement the plan. A total of five projects were approved for the operator.

The authors of the document expect that over the next seven years, developers will invest more than 70 billion rubles in their solutions. At the same time, the roadmap states that around 90 projects can be implemented with funds from state grants. Currently, the total amount of budgetary funds that will be invested in NOPO has not been determined.

It is expected that by 2030 the revenue from all projects will amount to 211 billion rubles. It is also planned to increase the audience for home instant messaging and social networks to 120 million people.

Many tasks will be implemented at the expense of the developers themselves, so the Ministry of Digital Development will introduce additional support measures. They consist in the fact that the State guarantees the demand through an anchor client.
