Different Marketplaces Participating in Different Categories: Amazon Requires Fast Shipping to home enterprises, and AliExpress on cheap goods from China which may take more than a month.
Over the years, the situation has changed in children. Amazon entered the US market and released billion dollar series on AliExpress.
Both companies have gone far beyond marketplaces, but they have one thing in common: you can find almost anything here.
Considering that all online stores took the example of Amazon, it was interesting to learn how it works in the official country of coverage and What are the prices and expediency from the same Ali. Spoiler: very much.
Amazon without photo search, but recommendations are less weird

Obviously, the task of any marketplace on the first page is to throw at you as much as possible of what you urgently want to buy.
Both stores return products based on your search, but Amazon offers a slightly smaller number of weird pages.
For example, I was looking for a USB adapter, an iPad, a power supply. Products from categories and categories in recommendations.
AliExpress is starting to feed absolutely ridiculous protective films for Xiaomi, gaming chairs and shirts, although I was looking for absolutely nothing from this. Just because that shopping list included an iPhone case and an Apple Watch strap.
Immediately the first difference: in the Turkish Amazon there is no search by photo. At most, the camera can scan the barcode of the product.
In my opinion, this is a big drawback on the part of the American store, which even closed one of the stores’ websites (more on that below).
In AliExpress lower prices
While I was looking for close friends for my products, I realized that they are consistently cheaper on AliExpress.
A banal comparison will help to understand this:
• Baseus GaN 65 W power supply: 2800 ₽ against 2360 ₽
• Xiaomi Mi Band 7 Pro: 7100 ₽ against 5130 ₽
• Ulanzi RGB flash: 2285 ₽ vs 1470 ₽
• Strap in the style of Apple Watch Ultra: 1130 ₽ against 254 ₽
The list can be long. What you go to AliExpress for, you can’t buy cheap on Amazon.
The only problem is that prices are similar in other stores in Turkey. There is a problem with penny imports.

When less results are good
Crazy what is here, what is there. The most common sources of garbage that you can scroll through endlessly.
But on AliExpress, the same product from different manufacturers is often squeezed out. Sometimes it seems that he sucks into a funnel from similar covers, toys, accessories. This happens because the owners of the “corners” do not bother with the characteristic look of the shop window.
The more the images look like hit products, the better.
Amazon promotes buying home goods instead of going to the store
On Amazon, too, they do not take a steam bath, but the number of duplicates is much less. There are only 256 results for the “double meaning” query, and 3206 of them are true on the Chinese platform. You yourself understand where the search is easier and faster.
But the most important thing: if the company is officially represented in the country, then the goods will be sold directly from it. In AliExprees, there are a lot of “original” dualsense, and in Amazon it is one.
The strongest difference, which makes Amazon closer to Yandex.Market than to the Chinese platform, is the ability to sell groceries, household chemicals, and other simple household items.
Delivery is different, Amazon is tougher on documents

Each AliExpress item has its own additional shipping charges. there are not a lot of them, but sometimes sellers set amounts, the maximum price tags of goods are dozens of times.
But on Amazon there are interesting incomes: for goods, the company’s raw materials, the amount of 400 rubles or more is free.
There is a nuance. To receive an order for goods on Amazon, a full authorization of the passport is required, including an indication of the number (kimlink) or type of citizen (ikamet), the correct receipt of the first and last name by verifying and verifying the phone number.
AliExpress only requires verification of identity through a phone number.

Photos are much easier to see on Ali
Both stores offer an acceptable selection when options are available. But AliExpress looks neater, no matter how unexpected it may sound. There are more affordable options with wide images, where sellers write all the features of the selected option.
It is common on Amazon that there are two colors, and one percent for 15 others. There are no explanations.
What is even more unpleasant is that similar options are sometimes split into completely different pages, and finding a suitable option is only possible through a string search.
On AliExpress. They are issued immediately on the scroll below, and on the observation board they need to be looked for on separate pages.
As a result, order is needed both there and there.
I rarely order something online, and the heroes of this post are the reason. I don’t understand how people become dependent on the surrounding sites. To find the right things there, you have to spend hours rummaging through a pile of irrelevant search results.. And in this aspect, both stores both failed and break through the bottom further.
Russian Ozon, Yandex.Market and SberMegaMarket Write much better than AliExpress.
Turkish marketplaces Trendyol and Hepsiburada draw much better than Amazon.
But the endless stream of choice decides, so people get anyway.
At Amazon strict Western energies. Better order, reliable advertising, transparent delivery terms and tighter control over data.
But AliExpress has a friendly social factor. People are more willing to absorb their orders, scheduling options are clearer, you don’t need to drive in your passport number to be able to buy.
There is only one conclusion. Physical ones buy more time-consuming, but without two hegemonic sites, at least the head does not burst from the choice. And the wallet too.
