The French L’Oreal during the CES 2023 exhibition presented two new beauty devices. The Brow Magic device can create perfect eyebrows with the help of AR technology, and the HAPTA smart lipstick applicator will help people with disabilities to make up their lips.
Information about gadgets is already presented on the company’s website.
Brow Magic was developed in collaboration with Korean startup Prinker, which is developing a device for applying temporary tattoos. L’Oreal’s device works on a similar principle: It is equipped with 2.4 thousand tiny nozzles, capable of applying up to 1.2 thousand dots per inch.
The user needs to download the Brow Magic app and scan their own face. Then, using augmented reality technology, you can choose the thickness, shape of the eyebrows, as well as various effects.

After that, you need to apply a primer and pass the printer over the eyebrows. The difference between Brow Magic technology and tattooing, according to the manufacturer, is that the paint can be removed with makeup remover.

The gadget should go on sale this year. Nothing is yet known about its future value.
The HAPTA Lipstick Applicator was developed in collaboration with Verily Life Sciences, a subsidiary of Alphabet. The device is intended for people with limited hand mobility. It allows you to smoothly apply lipstick with the help of a movable design with an adjustable angle of rotation and tilt.
The price of the applicator is also not yet known. The gadget will go on sale in 2023 under the Lancôme brand.
