Apple has released new apps for Windows 11. These include Apple Music, Apple TV, and the Apple Devices utility, which replaces iTunes.

The Apple Music and Apple TV apps are built on a new platform, so they run much faster and consume less resources than iTunes. They are similar to the versions that originated in macOS, although their design has been slightly modified under Windows.

Apple Music has all the same features as the macOS app to exclude lyrics from being shown. Users can listen to music from Apple Music and iTunes Store. Tracks from iTunes are automatically added to the new app.

Apple TV allows you to watch any content available on the service, including 4K HDR.

Apple also released the Apple Devices app, which allows you to back up devices and restore firmware without using iTunes. The opposite use of iTunes.

All apps contain a dark theme and only work on Windows 11.

After you install apps, iTunes is automatically reinstalled. In the future, Microsoft will release an update to iTunes to keep the app working with audiobooks and podcasts.

All new apps are currently available in the Microsoft Store as previews. Right now, not all applications can be installed, but it is likely that applications will be available for download for everyone in the near future. [9to5Mac]
