Ozon began to develop its own infrastructure in Kyrgyzstan, the market has already opened a representative office and a sorting center in Bishkek, the company said.
Sergey Belyakov, Managing Director of Ozon Holdings PLC, announced plans to enter the republican market in October. Now the company is building a logistics infrastructure so that local sellers can target consumers in Russia.
In addition to the representative office in Bishkek, the Ozon sorting center began to work. The company plans to expand its range in the world showcase.
“For businessmen from Kyrgyzstan, all delivery schemes to Russia are available: sale from Ozon’s Russian warehouse, sale from the seller’s local warehouse and delivery by Ozon, as well as delivery by third-party logistics services” the company said.
By attracting sellers from Kyrgyzstan, the site hopes to increase the range of textiles and housewares.
In 2021, Ozon was launched in Kazakhstan and Belarus.
