Dmitry Sergienkov will become the new CEO of HeadHunter, taking office on March 1, according to the service’s website.

Sergienkov has been with the company since 2017, and since 2021 he has held the position of Deputy General Director. Sergienkov is responsible for key areas of strategy and product development.

At the same time, Mikhail Zhukov, who was CEO of HeadHunter from 2008 to 2023, will become the company’s president. He will also remain a member of the Board of Directors. In his new role, Zhukov will develop relationships with key stakeholders and interact with government agencies. He will continue to participate in the formation of the strategy, the company explained.

Earlier, former MegaFon CEO Ivan Tavrin’s investment group Kismet Capital Group acquired 22.68% of HeadHunter. The settlement amounted to $147.3 million.

Another 9.3% of the company belongs to Elbrus Capital. The largest investment bank, Goldman Sachs, owns 5.9%. The remaining 61.9% of the shares are in free float. HeadHunter was founded in 2000 and went public on the Nasdaq in 2019.
