Frank Shaw, Microsoft’s communications director, accused Sony on Twitter of misleading EU regulators about Microsoft’s Call of Duty franchise plans.

According to him, the Japanese company is spreading false information, claiming that Microsoft wants to deprive itself of CoD after purchasing the developer company.

As proof, he cited a 10-year deal Microsoft submitted to Sony as an example – according to which Redmonds commits not to make the series exclusive to their platform.

He also reminded that once the owners of the Xbox brand bought the Minecraft developer with all the rights to the series. However, despite this, the game has not only disappeared from the platforms it is currently on, it has even appeared on new platforms.
