More than half of companies (52%) increase salaries only for individual employees, a survey of the SberPodbor and Rabota.ru services showed. Another 40% reported that it is customary in their organizations to raise everyone’s salaries at once, and 8% are willing to raise salaries only if the employees themselves request it.
Among companies that are ready to raise wages, 42% said the amount an employee expects will depend on the situation and will be made up of many factors.
31% reported a salary increase of up to 10% of current income. Every fifth company (21%) is ready to increase the salary by 10-20%. 2% of companies are ready to increase the salaries of employees by 20-30%, 30-50% and even more than 50% of the current monthly salary.
The main criteria for increasing an employee’s salary (multiple choice):
- professional achievements – 53%
- new responsibilities – 47%
- the need to adjust wages to the market – 45%
- availability of appropriate resources in the company — 21%
- work experience in the company – 13%
- desire to keep an employee in the company – 12%
More than 1,000 representatives of Russian companies from all regions of the country participated in the survey.
