Analysts from the Tutu travel service reported on the most popular destinations for the February holidays. Russians most often bought tickets to neighboring countries.
Independent travelers account for approximately 14% of the demand for these destinations, the results of the Izvestia study are shared.
Turkey ranked first: the share of holiday tickets issued nearly tripled over the year, to 14.94%. A round-trip ticket will cost an average of about 36 thousand rubles.
Armenia was in second place, where 13.6% of banknotes were issued. The average check for a round-trip ticket is at the level of 26.9 thousand rubles.
Azerbaijan ranks third – the share of tickets issued to this country was 11.3%. The average check is about 30 thousand rubles for a round-trip ticket.
Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Belarus, and Kyrgyzstan are also popular. From more distant destinations, the United Arab Emirates, Thailand and Israel are popular.
