NR Holding, owned by Russian businessman Viktor Kharitonin, who has stakes in pharmaceutical companies including Biocad, Pharmstandard and OTCPharm, has acquired Frankfurt Hahn Airport in Germany, which went bankrupt in 2021.

The fact that the notarial agreement has already been signed and the money is in the escrow account, Spiegel reported, citing local news agency DPA.

However, the transaction may not take place if the German Ministry of Finance, after verification, finds legal deficiencies in it.

There are no prerequisites for this: the largest manufacturer of the Russian coronavirus vaccine Sputnik V is not included in any sanctions list of Western countries in 2021.

Sources also recall that NR Holding also owns the Nürburgring race track worth 20 million euros.
