Microsoft is going to develop separate software that will allow other companies to create their own chatbots similar to ChatGPT, the sources told CNBC.
At the end of January, Microsoft announced a multi-billion dollar investment in the creator of ChatGPT, OpenAI. Now the company is preparing to introduce AI technologies into its products, in particular, the Bing search engine, as well as the Edge browser.
According to CNBC, the corporation intends to capitalize on the success of the OpenAi chatbot as much as possible. Microsoft has set its sights on creating technology that will allow other companies, as well as government agencies and governments, to develop their own bots using ChatGPT.
At the same time, it is emphasized that in order to work on a new solution, the company will need to update ChatGPT. The bot was trained with data up to 2021. Under Microsoft’s plan, new chatbots will contain up-to-date information.
Additionally, customers will be able to independently upload data to their chatbots and enhance their voice.
Analogues of ChatGPT are currently being developed by several technology companies, including Russian Yandex and Chinese search giant Baidu.
