Windows 11 is the most up-to-date version of Microsoft’s operating system, and although it offers the same possibility of free upgrades as Windows 10, it has not found the same popularity. So now we have tiny11a third-party version of the system that promises to reduce “bloat” and eliminates the infamous TPM 2.0 need for security.

Tiny11 is made by NTDEV based on Windows 11 Pro 22H2. It is a modified version of the operating system that largely eliminates the need for hardware with TPM 2.0 for its installation. It is this feature that is the biggest deterrent for upgrading many Windows 10 systems.

Its developers state that the reworked version has “everything you need for a comfortable computing experience without the bloat and mess of a standard Windows installation.” The system brings applications such as Calculator, Notepad, and Paint, but excludes the Microsoft Edge browser, for example.

Tiny11 eliminates the need for TPM 2.0 as well as reduces overall system requirements. Only 2GB of RAM required (versus the 4GB required for Windows 11) and 8GB of free storage.

Installation at your own risk

Tiny11 may look attractive to anyone who wants to use Windows 11, but it has been left out of the hardware specifications. However, it is important to point out. A complete operating system aside, there are always security risks in installing third-party software..

TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot have been proven to prevent Microsoft’s new operating system from being installed, but still, these are security features. Using a modified version of Windows 11 without them can pose a serious risk to your device.
