The Chinese balloon was dropped by the US military on February 5. The FBI has been instructed to examine the technologies it contains.
According to journalists, this control is paying off. As a result, six Chinese organizations were added to the sanctions list to “support China’s military modernization efforts.”
These organizations are: Beijing Nanjiang Aerospace Technology Co., China Electronics Technology Group Corporation 48th Research Institute, Dongguan Lingkong Remote Sensing Technology Co., Eagles Men Aviation Science and Technology Group Co., Guangzhou Tian-Hai-Xiang Aviation Technology Co. and Shanxi Eagles Men Aviation Science and Technology Group Co.
“China’s use of high-altitude balloons violates our sovereignty and threatens the national security of the United States,” said Alan Estevez, Deputy Secretary of Commerce for Industry and Security.
