The Russian network of pizzerias “Dodo Pizza” plans to open stores in eight new countries in 2023, premises have already been found for three of them and “the design is underway,” said Ilya Zomba, head of the company’s international development, on his Telegram channel.

In the first half of the year, points will be opened in Armenia, Cyprus and Serbia, in the second half of 2023 – in Bulgaria, Azerbaijan, Croatia and Georgia.

“Opening a new country is a very complex and long process. 19 blocks of tasks, 38 weeks, almost like having a baby. And now 8 countries are simultaneously advancing in this process,” Zomba said.

The company representative also informed about the details of the opening of a pizzeria in Turkey. The project leader will be Yaroslav Sharovarov, responsible for the Kazakhstan and Belarusian markets. The team is currently being formed.

The Dodo Pizza website reports that the chain currently operates in Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Romania, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Lithuania, Estonia, Germany, Slovenia, China, Nigeria, Poland, and Vietnam. The number of pizzerias is about 900.
