Eat foods that contain natural sugars and nutrients instead of foods with added sugar.. For example, you can eat fruit instead of ice cream, cookies, sweets.

Try to flavor food in a healthy way. You can add cinnamon or cocoa powder to a cup of coffee, fruit and vanilla extract to smoothies with dates, your favorite type of nut butter.

Avoid sweetened drinks. They have a lot of sugar. It will also be beneficial to exclude sports drinks, soda, fruit juices, drinks from coffee shops from the diet. Mostly for plain water, mineral water, unsweetened tea and coffee.

Read labels carefully. You may not even suspect how many sugars are hidden in different foods. Choose brands that contain no or very little sugar. Added sugars may appear on labels as brown sugar, honey, raw sugar, molasses, syrup, juice concentrates, corn sweetener, invert sugar, malt sugar.
