Entrepreneurs will start receiving higher payments from Ozon for opening new collection points (POP) in densely populated places. The specific amount will depend on the region and location, the maximum payments can reach 300 thousand rubles per month, an Ozon representative told RB.RU.
In Moscow, payments can reach 300 thousand rubles in the first month of operation of the point, in St. Petersburg – 170 thousand rubles, and in Yekaterinburg – 90 thousand rubles. Entrepreneurs will receive monthly payments for six months.
The maximum amount can be obtained to open in the most densely populated locations, where pickup points are needed first. For opening in a crowded place, but with a smaller population, support is also provided. Ozon has released an interactive map that highlights the busiest areas with high population density.
“The order issuance points are chosen by eight out of ten of our customers. In the second half of 2022, for example, the number of orders placed at points more than doubled. This confirms that it is necessary to open more points, ”explained Denis Dyachenko, Director of Development of Partner Logistics Programs at Ozon, about the initiative.
Currently, the Ozon brand points network has more than 16 thousand points throughout the country.
