Apple has booked all N3 assembly lines at the TSMC plant, which will produce chips using the 3nm process technology.

The company releases the A17 Bionic processor for the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max at the TSMC plant. Thanks to the new process technology, the A17 Bionic chip will be 35% more energy efficient than the A16 Bionic in the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max.

Processors cost 3nm to manufacture, but TSMC has managed to keep the damage down. In March, the plant should produce 45,000 such chips.

In the future, these assembly lines will also be released in the Republic of Apple to produce the 3nm M-series processors that will appear in the MacBook.
