The press service of the government of the Russian Federation announced the expansion of access to state support for the domestic IT sector. The news will affect companies engaged in research and development in the field of natural and technical sciences.
According to the official government channel Telegram, among the main state support measures for these types of companies are preferential mortgages, the reduction of insurance premiums, the postponement of compulsory military service and the exemption from inspections.
The post lists the following bonuses:
- state accreditation of companies,
- exemption from inspections by state and municipal control bodies,
- exemption from field tax audits,
- postponement of conscription for military service,
- preferential mortgage for employees (rate – up to 5% per annum),
- reduced rates for the payment of insurance premiums: for compulsory pension insurance (6%), for social insurance in case of temporary disability and in relation to maternity (1.5%), for compulsory medical insurance (0 ,1%).
Accredited companies will also be able to apply for loans on favorable terms for business projects that provide for the introduction of digital technologies based on Russian technological solutions.
