The removal of the application is due to the fact that MTS-Bank fell under US and UK sanctions.

Regarding MTS Bank, which received a license from the UAE Central Bank in early 2023 and registered a branch in Abu Dhabi, the Emirates financial regulator will conduct further investigation, according to RBC.
