Details on Vast’s proposed space station are scarce. But what is known for sure is that it will be equipped with artificial gravity created by the centrifugal force that arises when the station module rotates.
Vast and Launcher said the space station will operate in low Earth orbit and its volume will be much larger than that of the ISS. Vast CEO and founder Jed McCaleb told SpaceNews in September that the purpose of the space station is to serve as a research station and machine shop.
