During the What’s Next Western Digital event, the company SanDisk’s new SSD ecosystem called Pro-BladeIt was developed to help content creators who need convenience and high data transfer speed to realize their projects.
In total, three products from the Pro-Blade line have been announced. first Pro-Blade SSD Mag is an NVMe SSD with almost “2 in 1” functionality. The gadget can be used both in the studio and on the laptop when traveling, working outside.
Western Digital didn’t give much details about the speed of the transfers, but the official website quotes something around 3000MB/s. Internal storage ranges from 1TB to 4TB. The model is very stylish with its aluminum body that helps heat dissipation.
Pro-Blade Transport SSD
Paired with SSD Pro-Blade Transport SSD. This device is a compartment for the original product to work., as a container type. SanDisk Pro-Blade SSD Mag and Pro-Blade Transport will be available in the United States from June with starting prices of US$179 (approx. R$930) and $69 (approx. R$360) respectively. The SanDisk Pro-Blade Station will only enter the North American market in late 2022 and does not yet have suggested prices.
During the online stream, Western Digital also announced the world’s first 26TB HDDs, in addition to the arrival of two new SSDs for high-performance WD_Black consoles and computers.
