Apple announced that it will invest an additional 1 billion euros in its Processor Development Center in Munich.

The company says the investment will go toward designing and building a “state-of-the-art research facility” on Seidlstraße, where Apple’s R&D team can “combine in new ways, enhancing collaboration and innovation.” In addition, the Cupertino team will be located on Denisstrasse and Marsstrasse within the scope of the Center.

Apple has announced an additional €1 billion investment in German engineering over the next six years through its Silicon Design Center.
