Timur Turlov’s Freedom Holding has acquired LD Micro, a conferencing platform for small-cap companies. The deal has already closed and the purchase will be settled in cash and stock for a total of $8.3 million.

Freedom Holding buys small-cap conferencing platform LD Micro

The agreement was announced by a representative of Freedom Holding. The company is buying the LD Micro conference venue from US platform technology company SRAX (formerly Social Reality).

The purchase of LD Micro will be paid for in cash in the amount of $4 million and in common shares of Freedom Holding in the amount of $4.3 million.

The new asset will allow Freedom Holding to host annual conferences with the participation of small-cap companies in the United States, as well as help them place and raise capital, Freedom Holding said.

LD Micro organizes conferences for various organizations. The company’s most significant projects are the Invitational and Main Event held in Los Angeles with the participation of more than 200 companies and 1,000 investors.
