Apple to launch classical music streaming service on March 28

Apple will launch a new streaming service, Apple Music Classical, on March 28. The Verge writes about it.

The streaming service will specialize in classical music. The platform’s library will include more than 5 million songs. According to Apple, the service’s catalog will be the world’s largest for classical music.

Apple Music Classical will be available as a standalone app on the App Store, but access will be included with an Apple Music subscription.

In the first phase, Apple Music Classical will be exclusive to the App Store only. Apple does not rule out that it will launch an Android version of the application.

In August 2021, Apple bought the classical music service Primephonic. On this basis, the company created Apple Music Classical.
