Yandex started using the Live Activity interactive messaging feature on iOS to display the status of a taxi order in Yandex Go. He said so in a statement.
Now you can check the time until the car is served, find out its number and color directly on the iPhone lock screen, you don’t need to enter the application. You can also contact the driver with one click through the “Leave now” button, and once the trip is over, you can rate it.
The display of the status of taxi orders on the iPhone lock screen will be available in Yandex Go gradually and after updating the application to the latest version.
In January, Yandex.Lavka also added such a feature to the app.
Live Activity feature appeared in iOS 16.1, it allows you to follow various online events on the smartphone’s lock screen. If the device has multiple apps that work with this feature, the system automatically displays new events that occur in these apps on the lock screen.
