During a recent presentation, Disney Parks President Josh D’Amaro introduced a prototype robot the company was developing, a little bunny with roller skates. It will most likely be used at the Zootopia cartoon company’s new park in Shanghai.

Gizmodo states that the robot took the stage from behind the box, in the style of Sadako from the movie “The Ring.” In addition, the mobility of the robot, which “can perform dynamic maneuvers, including fall and rise and somersaults,” was demonstrated.

Western media has focused attention on the development of Disney robotics, but hasn’t let go of the robot’s eerie appearance (which, of course, should change when it’s released).
