Every day we use vehicles powered by batteries or accumulators. At the same time, experts recommend that used batteries should not be thrown away. The same goes for batteries.

And there is an important reason why these devices should not be thrown away. These are a number of toxic substances. For example, they contain lead (leads to damage to nerve cells, the development of many diseases), mercury (contributes to the development of cancer, damages the nervous system), cadmium (can cause dystrophy, muscle anemia), nickel (harms). causes cancer of the mucous membranes), zinc (weakens the immune system), lithium (negatively affects many human organs), manganese (badly affects the nervous system).

In addition, batteries pollute the environment. A small battery can easily poison 400 liters of water or 20 square meters of land. When the battery burns, all the toxins will be in the air. It is also better not to store used batteries at home, as they can leave toxic traces in the air.

Batteries and accumulators must be delivered to special collection points. They are usually found near stores. True, it is still impossible to dispose of these carriers without harming nature.
