According to experts, regular consumption of cranberries can reduce the risk of stroke by 10-17%. Professor Anatoly Skalny tried to explain this fact.
The expert noted that cranberries contain essential nutrients such as manganese and copper. They can help prevent stroke by lowering cholesterol levels and inflammation of blood vessels.
Skalny also recommended choosing smaller and unattractive cranberries over large ones. The truth is, smaller fruits grown in harsher conditions contain more beneficial nutrients.
The professor also emphasized that the most nutritious parts of cranberries are not in the juice, but in the peel.
