According to the representative, the devices will continue to work after September 15 (when the company’s hardware support should end), but Google does not plan to release any software updates. End of support also applies to the built-in Meet app and authorized service providers.
It’s hard to say if Google Glass has a future, but last year the company seemed interested in developing such technologies, announcing that it would conduct real tests of augmented reality (AR) glasses. A Google spokesperson also told The Verge that the company is still “Deeply connected to AR”.
