Now there are two versions of the model: Claude and “Claude Instant”. They are available to Anthropic’s commercial partners as well as a limited “Early Access” group. They can use Claude via the chat interface or API in the Anthropic Developer Console.
Antropik claims that Claude is “much less likely to produce harmful results, easier to communicate and more manageable” than other AI chatbots while maintaining a “high degree of reliability and predictability.” Like the ChatGPT API, Claude can change his “personality”, the tone of his messages, or his behavior based on the user’s preferences.
