Previously, such purchases had to go to the bank in person or go through simplified authentication. Now this is not necessary.
The bill aims to reduce the administrative burden on banks and expand the possibilities for citizens to pay for goods.
However, if the bank suspects money laundering or terrorist financing from the customer, it may request additional data. Authentication is also required when transferring funds to an individual or non-profit organization (excluding religious and charitable organisations).
