Russian Post launched a 3PL logistics service. Now Russian manufacturers and distributors will be able to use the company’s services for the storage of goods, their packaging and inventory management, the Russian Post press service said.

The first warehouses with a total area of ​​26,500 square meters have already been placed in Kazan, Novosibirsk and Moscow Vnukovo. m. The premises can accommodate up to 20,000 pallets and 110,000 boxes and crates.

The Russian Post notes that 3pl-logistics will allow companies working with wholesale clients to outsource all operations with goods, including the preparation of import and export documentation.

The press service recalled that the company has four logistics centers in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk and Kazan. In addition, already this year, e-commerce sellers will be able to store foreign goods in customs warehouses of the Russian Post in Kazan and Vnukovo without paying customs duties until they are shipped to the buyer.

Previously, Russian Post launched an express parcel delivery service in 16 major cities of the country. Prior to this, this service was only available to Muscovites.
