Many believe that the solar system is full of metal asteroids waiting to be mined by future space miners. Unfortunately, this view turned out to be wrong.

That is, according to the results of the study, no more than 0.5% of metal-rich class “M” asteroids are present in the solar system. It sounds sad, but that doesn’t mean they don’t exist at all. And although mass mining of metals from asteroids is not yet to be expected, there are still opportunities.
