One in four companies is interested in the credit history of candidates, the SuperJob survey showed. According to the service, more and more employers are practicing this method of screening applicants.
17% of those who are interested in credit histories check them when recruiting for all positions, and 9% for only a portion of the positions.
In most cases, they request credit history from applicants for management positions, positions related to responsibility, contracting, and delivery organization.
On the part of job seekers, only one in ten (10%) faced a request for a credit history check during employment, 75% are sure that such a procedure has happened to them.
Compared to 2019, companies started doing credit checks on candidates more frequently: four years ago, 15% of companies did it, now 26%.
The survey involved 1 thousand employers and 1.6 thousand representatives of the economically active population from all districts of Russia.
