The author of Science Alert, a professor at the University of Galway, decided to test the chatbot in Wordle, a popular game where you have to guess the word of the day. Using the latest generation of the model, called ChatGPT-4, the researcher found that puzzle solving performance was surprisingly low.

Therefore, five out of six ChatGPT responses did not match the template. It turns out that the chatbot doesn’t work well with palindromes either.
