The system works simply – it detects hidden signals before the attack becomes obvious. Based on the GPT-4 model, Security Copilot helps enterprise customers identify and mitigate cyber risks.
The AI system is specifically trained in materials and terminology used by IT professionals, and is linked to other Microsoft security tools and is planned to be integrated with third-party software solutions in the future.
Unlike most GPT-4-based applications that rely on legacy datasets, Security Copilot constantly learns from the trillions of threat alerts Microsoft receives daily.
However, it is worth noting that the system may still experience “hallucinations”. According to Microsoft, this could pose a significant security risk. To mitigate this issue, the company has implemented a user feedback mechanism for more accurate answers.
