According to the study, 85% of respondents, especially women, play games on smartphones and tablets. The most popular genre among mobile gamers is puzzle (79%), followed by virtual board games (70%), racing (53%) and shooters (51%).
Tabletop games remain at the same level of popularity – 63%, with the share of female gamers increasing to 40%. The most played games on PC are shooter (69%), racing (62%) and action adventure (49%). Survival and horror games are less interesting (27%).
Console games are losing their fans – their share has dropped to 17%. Consoles are preferred by men and players aged 25-34. The top genres for console are racing (69%), fighting games (64%), and shooters (62%). Collectible card games are not very popular (28%).
