Sensors, bulbs, sockets and other Zigbee devices from different manufacturers can be connected to the new column. For example, you can connect a motion sensor and a light bulb, and then the light will turn on by itself even if the Wi-Fi is turned off. Also, Zigbee devices respond faster to commands. The light on command will open instantly, Yandex promises.
Yandex Hub is designed to replace the new column. You can also connect and control sensors, sockets and other gadgets to this device. If you connect a speaker with Alice to the Hub, you can give voice commands.
As for the sensors, there are even five. These are window and door opening sensor, motion and light sensor, temperature and humidity sensor, leak sensor and wireless button.
