Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 may come with a larger screen and reduced edges

New rumors indicate that Samsung is planning to significantly change the look of its new smartwatch – considering the recent models have a very similar look. According to the report of whistleblower Ice Universe, Samsung plans to increase the size of the Galaxy Watch 6’s screen bezel and shrink its edges.

In a post on Twitter, the leak expert claims that Samsung plans to launch the Galaxy Watch 6 with a 1.47-inch display, i.e. 1.4 inches (44mm) larger than the Galaxy Watch 5. In addition, the South American company should also improve the resolution of the watch and, as a result, improve the screen ratio.

The leaker says the information is “100% verified” and that the screen is increased to 1.47 inches, making the edges smaller. Another rumor suggests that the Galaxy Watch 6 will use curved glass, which explains the adoption of thinner edges.

“100% verified, exclusive: Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 has increased the screen size of the watch face to 1.47 inches and the resolution has been improved accordingly, which means the screen aspect ratio has finally been improved.” He said Ice Universe in a message on Twitter.
