The new mid-range smartphone of the South Korean brand Samsung Galaxy A24 will be announced soon. Recently, several details of the device, including its supposed appearance and specifications, have been leaked to the internet.

According to render images, the new phone should adopt a similar design to its predecessors Galaxy A34 5G and A54 5G. The rear panel, made of plastic, has three vertically aligned camera sensors and an LED flash on the side.

The leak shows Galaxy A24 may have a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display With Full HD+ resolution and 90 Hz refresh rate. The panel with thicker edges has a drop-shaped cutout for the front camera, which is claimed to be 13 MP.

Speaking of photography, the device has a Triple rear camera with 50 MP main sensor, 5 MP ultra wide and 2 MP macro unit. It seems that the phone will be able to record videos in 1080p resolution at 30 frames per second (fps).

internally, Galaxy A24 can use MediaTek G99 processor only with support for 4G connections. Also, the model is supposed to have 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal space, and possible expansion with a microSD card is possible.

Running the One UI 5 interface (Android 13), the mobile should offer a fingerprint reader on the side and a P2 headphone jack. Closing the pack, the device needs to be equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery with 15W fast charging.

How much should the Galaxy A24 cost?

The leak suggests that the Galaxy A24 should be announced in April 2023. As an “intermediate entry” option, the mobile can be launched for around US$190 (in current direct conversion, R$955 excluding taxes).

For more, the device must be in black or green colors. However, old render images showed the device in silver or burgundy tones.
