More than 100 documents have been released detailing classified information, such as expected arms shipment schedules, troop and battalion numbers, and more. The Pentagon expressed concern about the leak, with a senior intelligence official calling it “a nightmare for Five Eyes”.
Mick Mulroy, a former senior Pentagon official, said the leak was a major security breach that could hamper Ukraine’s military planning. He suspects the leak was a deliberate attempt to “harm the efforts of Ukraine, the United States and NATO”.
Secret documents from the Pentagon on the conflict in Ukraine were first leaked on 7 April.
