Ernie is seen as a competitor to the popular ChatGPT chatbot developed by OpenAI. Baidu AI, the search engine division responsible for creating the bot, said there is currently no official app for Ernie.

Meanwhile, Ernie is only available to users who apply and receive access codes to it.
Apple has yet to comment on this situation.
