Based on third-party dev diaries that show evidence of Apple engineers or testers using new Macs, Gurman found 15-inch MacBook Air with 8-core CPU and 10-core GPU, as well as 13-inch MacBook Air, 13-inch MacBook Pro and 24 inch iMac.

Gürman also predicts that Apple is preparing to launch the M3 chip, which will go into the 3nm production process after the 5nm M2 chip. It’s not yet clear which Mac models will get the M3, but Gurman expects Apple to release updates for the M3-based 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pros in the first half of 2024.
