Apple’s Russian “subsidiary” revenue fell 78%

Information on the financial performance of the Apple subsidiary in Russia is reflected in the database of the state resource of financial statements.

The revenue of Apple Rus LLC in 2022 amounted to 85.4 billion rubles, which is 78% or 300 billion rubles less than in 2021. With a profit at the end of 2021 of 11.5 billion rubles, the Apple subsidiary worked in 2022 with a net loss of 6.5 billion rubles.

Apple officially ended direct sales in Russia in March 2022. The company’s devices are brought into the country under a parallel import scheme.

In March 2023, Apple ended warranty service for MacBook laptops and iPad tablets in Russia for an indefinite period. The company cited logistical difficulties in supplying spare parts caused by the sanctions restrictions as the reason for this decision.
