After we started testing the feature over a year ago, WhatsApp begins publishing transcription of voice messages. This Wednesday (26) users have started reporting that they have already received transcripts of audio recordings.
After a hiatus in development, the feature gained new features this year and WABetaInfopredicts news from the world’s most popular messaging app. According to the website, it shows a login screen explaining how the technology works before the system starts up.
According to the website image, for example, when the messenger does not recognize any words or is set to a different language, the transcript cannot be used.
Reports on social networks
There are several people reports on Twitter showing how the tool works. According to the screenshots, the text transcription comes just below the audio file. Also, the text will become darker after the audio is played, in case the user wants to follow both the audio and the text.
The innovation that WhatsApp users have been waiting for a long time was praised by the public. For example, many people complained about the difficulty of listening to audio when you do not have headphones. Check out users’ reaction with the new voice transcription tool below:

I will never listen to it out loud again. Improve your diction so that the subtitles sound straight.
