According to our colleagues at Android Police, this latest update brings back a feature that was removed in March for compatible Pixel models. We are talking about the ability to share a Wi-Fi password via a QR code.
And it didn’t matter whether it was an Android smartphone or an iPhone scanning.
The March update only got Pixel users a black screen when trying to share a screenshot of a QR code.
Recall that Google was waiting for the announcement of Android 14 in early May, as well as the new inexpensive Pixel 7a and the brand’s first foldable phone, the Pixel Fold. All this must happen within the framework of Google I/O 2023.
